The do's and dont of operating in a hostile environment.

Reporting on conflicts can be a dangerous proposition, especially when it escalates within a short amount of time, while you are on the scene. For that reason it is very useful for reporters to be trained in the "do's and dont's" of operating in hostile environments.

This 2.5 day course will provide you with skills:
● In martial arts: basic self-defense; navigating crowds; rape avoidance
● In field work: avoiding crossfire; cover & camouflage; casualty evacuation; handling armed hostiles; paintball role-play
● On the shooting range: weapons identification & safety; firing & disarming; explosives & petrol bombs; roadblocks; moving under fire.
