50% PART-TIME LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER - DEVELOPMENT JOURNALISM

THREE YEAR GRANT FUNDED POSITION

Wits Journalism seeks a 50% part-time lecturer/senior lecturer in the field of Development Journalism. This is a grant-funded position on a three-year contract from 01 January 2014.

Duties:
The candidate would co-ordinate a Masters-level course, supervise research reports and organise an annual colloquium.

Qualifications and experience
Requirements:  At least a Master’s degree, preferably a PhD; teaching experience.
Remuneration: A competitive package will be offereddepending on qualifications and relevant experience.
